Annie Palmen，Dutch singer, who became a star on radio in 1948. She scored a big hit with the song: "ik zal je nooit meer vergeten" in 1958. In 1963, she was the Dutch entry at the Eurovision song contest. Her song: "de speeldoos" finished 13th in the competition. Soon afterward she became very popular as "Drika, the farmers wife" on radio and on stage.
