Brenda Varda is an actress, musician, and writer. Born in Minnesota, she attended the University of Minnesota in theatre and music, and then worked in theatre and improvisation in St. Louis, Minneapolis, Chicago, and San Francisco. She also holds an M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University, and an M.F.A.
