Arthur Jarrett,The son of stage actor/playwright Arthur L. Jarrett (1884-1960), Arthur Jarrett was a prominent singer in the 1930s and 1940s. Near the end of the 1920s he recorded for Victor and Brunswick with dance orchestras of Ted Weems, Earl Burtnett, Red Nichols, Jimmie Noone and 'Frankie Trumbauer' . He was famous for his high tenor "counter melody" style.
