Abe Roth，Boxing referee who worked mostly in Southern California from the mid 1920s until the late 1950s. Roth was at the center of many controversial fights, and wasn't afraid to get involved. Once, after several warnings, he stopped a fight in the tenth round and declared it a no-contest because the two boxers weren't mixing it up enough.
