Marcelo Gaete was born in 1935 in Chile. He was an actor and director, known for Das gelobte Land (1973), Alsino und der Condor (1982) and El escarabajo (1983). He was married to Sara Astica. He died on October 10, 2005 in San Jose, Costa Rica.
