Philippe de Rothschild was born on April 13, 1902 in Paris, France as Georges Philippe de Rothschild. He was a writer, known for L'amant de lady Chatterley (1955), La demoiselle et son revenant (1952) and V.I.P.-Schaukel (1971). He was married to Pauline Fairfax Potter and Élisabeth Pelletier de Chambure. He died on January 20, 1988 in Paris.
