Sylvia Froos，Throughout the 1920s, vaudeville child star Sylvia Froos was billed as "Baby Sylvia." In 1927 she appeared in two talking films six months before The Jazz Singer (1927) - often referred to as the "first talking picture." Froos began her professional career in Baltimore in 1920 at the age of seven, and soon became a successful Vaudeville singer.
