Bernie Schwartz，Regularfoot surfer Johnny Fain was born on July 7, 1943 in Los Angeles, California. Born into a wealthy Hollywood family (he's the only child of screenwriter Jeanne Bartlett), Fain grew up in the Malibu Colony just north of Malibu Pier amongst producers, directors, and film stars.
