Operation Fire Magic

On October 13th 1977, Lufthansa Flight LH181 took off from the island of Mallorca with ninety-one people on board. As it flew over the Mediterranean Sea, four terrorists hijack the plane. A fanatic who calls himself "Captain Martyr Mahmud," led the attack and he demanded the release of political prisoners and fifteen million dollars otherwise he would kill the hostages and destroy the plane. A young stewardess Gabriele Dillmann is forced to relay the demands in a heartfelt plea to the tower. Germany's new Special Forces Unit, GSG9, with their highly trained operatives may have to launch a rescue raid. The operation is exceptionally risky and they enlist the help of Britain's SAS. The hijacked plane flies all over the Middle East for days but when the plane's captain Jurgen Schumann is murdered in South Yemen Germany's politicians order the Special Forces team into action.
