In Tania's Head

For years, Tania Head was one of the most recognizable voices among the 9/11 survivors. She was the only person to escape alive from the floor where the second plane struck, and her story of resilience led her to become the president of the World Trade Center Survivors' Network. Her heroic tale of survival and the tragic loss of her fiancé in the attacks made headlines around the world, deeply moving the international public. However, in 2007, an investigation by The New York Times revealed that none of it was true. Tania Head was actually Alicia Esteve Head, a woman from Barcelona who had never even been to the Twin Towers.
