Far out in the countryside lives 11-year-old Jasper with his parents in a small house. Jasper, who is somewhat of a loner and a thoughtful little guy, has a single best friend - the ancient mariner, Aron, who lives down by the river. When Aron one day suddenly dies, he leaves a monstrosity of an old cupboard - and the cat Prust. Jaspers father tries in vain to find a new home for the large closet that can not be opened. But at night the cupboard opens for Jasper and there lives the bald ghost ...
