Follows a 1999 expedition to the North Face of Mount Everest to search for clues to the disappearance of climbers George Mallory and Andrew Irvine, who apparently died on the mountain in June 1924. Mallory’s body was discovered during the expedition in May 1999; this has led to a new interpretation of Mallory and Irvine’s final hours on Everest.
