When Jung-dal is released from prison, he looks up his former partner-in-crime, Yeong-nam, to request his assistance in starting a new life. Yeong-nam refuses to help him so Jung-dal kidnaps his wife. The trauma of the experience causes Yeong-nam's wife to have a mental breakdown and her husband vows to do everything in his power to destroy Jung-dal.
