Elisa Guittet a spoilt girl from Paris runs away from the bright lights, and the family business, and comes to remote Outback Australia to find herself and sort out her life. In an attempt to get her back her parents have cancelled her credit cards. She finds herself alone and in the middle of nowhere. After a chance meeting with two lovable rogues, Phil O'Brien a country singing wheeling dealing nomad, and his companion ex jailbird Al Zimdahl, a journey of a lifetime begins. At first there is a complete clash of cultures as our unlikely trio head through the Outback on a journey of discovery. Things get beer soaked and bull dust coated as Elisa's new found freedom takes shape. But after a rocky start a real camaraderie begins to form and Elisa evaluates her life and her former materialistic ways.
