Las misiones pedagógicas: 1931-1936

Documentary that analyzes the process of educational innovation that supposed the "Pedagogical Missions" promoted by Giner de los Rios and the Free Institution of Education. The Pedagogical Missions are considered the most generous accomplishment of the Spanish Second Republic. In their work they distributed more than 5000 libraries and brought culture and fun to the most remote places in Spain. This documentary recovers, through the word of some missionaries and the memory of those who at that time were children, the altruistic work of this republican patronage.
